After the flood water washed away the track temporary repairs have been carried out to allow traffic to flow to Moomba and Innamincka. Once the water has completely stopped permanent repairs will be carried out

Please note that these repairs are only one lane wide and speed restrictions apply.

Plenty of fish were washed down the creek and thousands of them would have reached Lake Blanche, Mostly catfish but a few other species as well.

Also note the other critter being held by Chris, a friendly reminder to all that we have some nasty little critters in this country. This particular one is harmless and is commonly called in these parts a Womma.
